  About the club

Long Marston Cricket Club is situated on the edge of Long Marston village on the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire border. The club has a long history with records of games dating back to 1867. A thriving club, Long Marston has two saturday teams that play competitive league cricket in the Cherwell Cricket League. The first team playing in Division 2 after securing promotion for the last two years. The second team play in Division 6 after winning Division 7 in 2007. After many years of playing friendly cricket on a Sunday Long Marston have entered the Chess Valley League for the first time this year and will be playing in Division 4, but will continue to play a number of friendly games. Essentially Long Marston is a friendly club that provides a good standard of cricket with outstanding facilities.

Colts cricket is also a major part of the club and we run sides at Under 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 age groups all of whom play in the Aylesbury and District Cricket League. The club is committed to the development of youth cricket and has worked hard to secure its Clubmark status and is one of a handful of Focus Clubs in Hertfordshire.

Marlins, the home of Long Marston, is renowned for being one of the most picturesque cricket grounds in the Herts, Bucks and Beds region and plays host to a number of Hertfordhsire County Cricket Club games every season.
