Long Marston Cricket Club is situated on the edge of Long Marston village on the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire border. The club has a long history with records of games dating back to 1867. A thriving club, Long Marston has two saturday teams that play competitive league cricket in the Cherwell Cricket League. The first team playing in Division 2 after securing promotion for the last two years. The second team play in Division 6 after winning Division 7 in 2007. After many years of playing friendly cricket on a Sunday Long Marston have entered the Chess Valley League for the first time this year and will be playing in Division 4, but will continue to play a number of friendly games. Essentially Long Marston is a friendly club that provides a good standard of cricket with outstanding facilities. |
